THE
On December 19, 2007 we rolled the fuselage and wings of a T-34B Mentor airplane into Hangar #2. This aircraft was built in 1956 for the Navy in Pensacola, Florida. It served the Navy as a recruiting element and then later as a Navy flying club training aircraft. It last flew in 1986 when two pilots fought over the controls on takeoff. The aircraft was acquired in 1996 and has been in storage until now.
This airplane will undergo a complete restoration to flying condition over the next few years. We will keep you up to date on the project as we move forward. We invite you to stop by and take a look at this work in progress. Just ask for David to get the story and the tour.
This aircraft is available for purchase at any point of the restoration process. Call Joe Schott for details.
